Relaxing at the first RPB summer program
For students, one of the benefits of living on campus is the opportunity to take part in a broad array of residence hall and apartment programs and activities. Two dynamic student groups—REP (Residential Education Programmers) and RPB (Residential Programming Board)—generate the bulk of activities over the course of the academic year.
- REP puts its emphasis on educational topics such as academic success, wellness and diversity.
- RPB is more oriented toward helping residents connect with each other through entertaining social events.

NOTE: Both groups issued end-of-year reports, which show the range and depth of programming available to residents in both the halls and apartments. The RCSA (Residential Community Student Association) also issued an annual report.
“Our student leaders do just an amazing job in engaging residential students by facilitating fun, creative, and educationally purposeful events and activities,” said Chris Jaehne, Director, Residential Life. “RCSA as well did an exceptional job in advocating resident issues and concerns to HFS Administration, as well as funding a marvelous array of hall council activities in all of our communities.”
