Education in the Residence Halls
Husky Grind is an award winning coffee program dedicated to supporting the residential life experience through the exploration of one of the world’s most important and beloved beverages. Residents and members of the UW community engage in a series of activities examining the complexities of coffee. Events are fun, in-depth and hands-on journeys into history and supply chains, roasting, brewing and sensory development.
Each year we partner with The School of Public Health to offer Nutrition 490A: Special Topics—Coffee’s Value Chain, an accredited course for 220 students.
