Get ready to unleash your creativity and show off your room decorating skills! In partnership with Pepsico, we’re thrilled to introduce the #HuskyHome Room Decorating Contest exclusively to our current residents. You have the chance to win a Pepsi Prize Pack loaded with your favorite beverages to enjoy with your hallmates!
The contest runs from September 19, 2023 until October 3, 2023, and is open to all University of Washington (UW) Housing & Food Services (HFS) residential students. We can’t wait to see your room!
How to enter

- Decorate your room with your unique style!
- Submit a photo of your room via DM (direct message) to @UWHFS, following the contest rules outlined below

Contest details
Contest Period: September 19, 2023 until October 3, 2023.
Eligibility: This contest is exclusively open to current HFS residential students. To be eligible to win a prize you must be a current HFS resident.
Prize Redemption: Prize winners must respond to a direct message from HFS and collect their prize within seven days of notification. In case of non-response, an alternative prize winner may be selected.
Photo submission guidelines
- Consent is required from all individuals sharing the space in submitted photos.
- By participating, students grant permission for their photos to be featured on UW HFS social media, website and marketing materials.
- Photos must not include any individuals or roommates.
- Photos should not depict visible drug or alcohol paraphernalia, promotional content, or obscene materials
Judging process
- Prize winners will be selected by a panel of qualified judges, including HFS staff members and student employees, at HFS’ sole discretion.
- No monetary investment is required, and spending does not influence the evaluation process.
- We highly value innovative and personalized room decoration that reflects students’ individuality and effort.
Terms and conditions
By entering the contest, the prizewinner authorizes HFS to use, in any media in perpetuity, their name, photograph, likeness, voice, place of residence and/or statement regarding the prize for publicity and advertising purposes, without any compensation. By entering this contest, you agree to be contacted by HFS. HFS reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify this contest, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or obligation if, in HFS’ sole discretion, any factor or event arises that could interfere with the proper conduct, administration, security or impartiality of the contest.
