Don’t overlook these workers’ contributions​

Food Service Worker Garius Dimalibot says he decided to design the above image in response to UW's Instagram page posting of #protectyourpack photos. “I noticed that in those photos not one included any of the workers I mentioned. With all my time at UW as a student and a classified employee , I have always felt that these types of workers are often overlooked,” he observed. “In the situation we are in right now, I wanted to give a nod to my fellow essential employees as a simple gesture in these tough times.”

Garius became a student employee in 2013 and classified staff in 2015. He is currently at the Husky Grind, District Market.
