Creative Events and Gatherings: Whether its creating and building projects in our makerspace, hosting a fun get together in our VR experience room, or hanging out in our recreational billiards and ping-pong gaming area: The 8 has a place for you and your friends to have fun. The 8 also has ample study space, with sweeping views of University Village, and Montlake in the background.
Academic and Learning Partnerships: Supporting the academic mission of the UW is a vital part of our mission. We are interested in partnership possibilities with campus academic departments and colleges that can encompass a large range of student learning possibilities. Our strong partnership with DXARTS and the College of Engineering provide us connections with the arts and sciences departments on campus.
