Make housing and dining payments for your student

Students have the option to authorize their parents or another third party to pay their housing bills. Housing and dining payments are separate from tuition payments. More information about making housing and dining payments for your student can be found on the Financial Information for Residents page.

Know in advance when payments are due and bookmark our dates and deadlines calendar page.

Programs and services

HFS and UW Parent & Family Programs (PFP) partner to ensure the best experience for every Husky. The UW Parent and Family Guide is an excellent resource.

Privacy and safety

Resident safety is one of our highest priorities. HFS will not release room or telephone numbers to any unauthorized person including friends, parents and relatives.

Parent notification and student privacy

Once a student turns 18, or attends school beyond secondary school, the rights of access to the student’s records transfer to the student. It’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) before you apply for housing.
