Move-in for autumn quarter is on Sunday, September 10. However, if you like to move in earlier, you may request early arrival housing and move in is as early as September 1. You can apply for early arrival on your MyHFS Homepage. The deadline for priority consideration is July 31.
Early arrival costs
You will be charged a nonrefundable application charge when you submit your application, and you will be charged a prorated amount based on your monthly apartment rate for your days of early occupancy.

Monthly Payment Plan: with your first monthly payment
Financial Aid Payment Plan: on the third Friday of winter quarter
Application deadline
Applications received after the quarterly deadline will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will incur an expedite charge if approved. The deadline is about a week before the earliest day of early arrival.

- Winter quarter—December 15
- Spring quarter—March 15
- Summer quarter—June 5
Early arrival cancellation
A cancellation charge will be assessed if you cancel by the deadline stated in the application. Cancellations will not be accepted after that date, and full early arrival charges will remain on your account.
