UW departments and authorized UW organizations may request identification badges for their staff or student members, conference attendees or event participants. These badges cannot be set up with building or account access, they are for identification purposes only.
The Husky Card serves as your UW library card. Use it when checking out books and materials from the UW Libraries.
Most Seattle campus students are automatically enrolled in the Universal U-PASS program. Faculty and staff members are eligible to purchase a U-PASS once they have received their Husky Card. The U-PASS provides full fare coverage on King County Metro, Community Transit, Sound Transit, Pierce Transit, Kitsap Transit, Everett Transit bus services, Sound Transit's Link light rail and Sounder commuter trains. U-PASS members tap the Husky Card on the ORCA card readers in place of payment. Additional benefits include free rides on the NightRide Shuttle and discounts at participating merchants.
