Step 2: Register your preferred name (optional)
If you would like your preferred name printed on your Husky Card, make sure you have first registered it at Identity.UW. You'll need to login using your UW NetID. More information about preferred names can be found here.
Step 3: Submit your photo using our secure portal
Ready to submit your photo? Go to our submission form.
Step 4: Check your UW email
Please allow 3-4 business days for processing. An email will be sent to your UW email address once the review process is complete. If the photo is rejected you will need to complete the submission form again to upload both a new photo file and government-issued photo ID that meets the requirements. Once your photo has been approved you will not be able to submit another one.
RECEIVING YOUR HUSKY CARD
UW Seattle campus A&O students: First Year Programs will mail your Husky Card to your local address listed in MyUW 1-2 weeks after your successful photo submission. If you miss the deadline, late photo submissions will still be accepted and cards mailed in late August. If you have an address outside of the U.S. then you will be able to pick up your Husky Card in person from the Husky Card Office when you are next on campus, as we are not able to mail cards internationally.
UW Bothell campus students: Please note that successful submission of your photo does not constitute a request for the printing of your Husky Card. To obtain your Husky Card, please complete the UW Bothell Husky Card Request Form. Your Husky Card will be mailed to you within 3-5 business days. Questions should be directed to email@example.com.
