6 Ways to Save at the District Market

January 30, 2020 by HFS Staff

Everyone loves saving a few bucks, and we know you are no exception. Here are a few deals straight from the District Market (DM) to help you save some money!

1. 25 cents off your purchase when you buy 5 or more items and use your own bag

Sustainability is one of the core principles of the UW, so the DM has decided to help contribute! If you buy 5 or more items, and use your own bag, you get 25 cents off your entire purchase. Not only do you help reduce waste, you’re saving some money too.

2. 10% off with Bicycle Benefits sticker

Bikes are a great and effective way to get around our busy campus. Bicycle Benefits is a national program that aims to reward cyclists by providing discounts at various locations (find out more here). The DM is proud to be a part of this program by offering 10% off when you show the Bicycle Benefits sticker attached to your helmet! *Offer not stackable with other discounts*

3. 10% off with Husky Card Account

When you use your Husky Card Account in the DM (NOTE: This is different from a dining plan!), you get 10% off! Load money on your card here to start saving now.

4. $1.95 Twin Brooks bottle credit

In yet another effort to help contribute to sustainability, the DM has a special deal that will not only help the planet but will also help you save! When you bring back your empty bottle of Twin Brooks milk to the DM, you get a $1.95 credit towards your next purchase.

5. Salad under $5.50

Not quite up to buying lettuce, chopping vegetables, making a dressing, and all of the other steps that go into making a salad? Don’t worry, you’re in luck. The DM has a selection of prepackaged salads, that you can just grab and go, and some are even under $5.50!

6. $3.50 Breakfast sandwich

Breakfast; it’s the most important meal of the day! But, it can be hard to fit breakfast into your busy schedule. When you’re on your way to that way-to-early class or meeting, stop by the DM and grab one of our breakfast sandwiches. Some are even under $3.50!
