Family Housing apartments
Family Housing at the UW is for registered full-time students at the Seattle campus who want to live with their family in on-campus housing. A family is defined as a married couple, with or without children. Same-sex domestic partnerships are accepted from jurisdictions that do not allow same-sex marriage.

Child care
Securing convenient, affordable and reliable child care is a top priority for most parents. Finding child care in the Puget Sound region can be particularly difficult and the University is working hard to increase supports for students needing childcare.
University of Washington Children’s Centers (UWCC) offer year-round care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at four Seattle campus locations and are operated by Haggard Childcare Resources.
For more information about childcare on campus, visit the Child care at UW page.
Events and activities
Residential Life staff organize and present a wide variety of programs and events designed especially for the residents of family housing. These programs offer ongoing opportunities to meet your fellow residents, learn about different cultures, learn about campus resources, celebrate seasonal and cultural traditions and much more.
