I am interested in nothing less than the remaking of higher education—not as an institution that merely tolerates difference, but as a space where equity, justice, and love are its very foundation. For too long, we have accepted an educational system that defines excellence by exclusion, that measures worth by conformity, and privilege rather than creativity, and that too often fails to recognize the full humanity of those it claims to serve. My work is to break these old, crumbling barriers and build, in their place, a bridge—one that carries us all toward a future where knowledge Liberates rather than confines, where access is not a privilege but a birthright.

One thing you like about working and/or living in Seattle

Their passion reminds me that education, at its best, is a collective act of freedom-making.
